Your Mac's screen
When the terminal isn't enough — a browser preview, a dialog, a simulator — look at the whole screen and reach in.
Open it
On a session's page, tap the display icon at the top right. It's there for Mac hosts.
Control it
| Gesture | Does |
|---|---|
| Tap | Click |
| Tap twice | Double-click |
| Long-press | Right-click |
| Two-finger drag | Scroll |
| Pinch | Zoom in on small text |
Below the picture there's a row of keys — Esc, Tab, Delete, Return, arrows, ⌘C, ⌘V, ⌘Z — and a text box. What you type goes straight to the Mac, Chinese included.
Even when the Mac is locked
If the Mac is locked you'll see its lock screen. The text box becomes a password field with an Unlock button.
On any network
It works on the same Wi-Fi, over Tailscale, and over cellular through the relay. Like everything else between your phone and your computers, the picture is end-to-end encrypted. A self-hosted relay supports it too, as long as it's on a recent version.
The first time
macOS asks you to allow Seedmux under Screen Recording and Accessibility in System Settings. macOS may ask you to confirm screen recording again about once a month.
